Parisian multi-talent Sunni Colón has been a favourite of ours over the past year, drawing us into his psychedelic world of digital wizardry and visceral romance, which became particularly apparent with singles ‘Technicolour’ and ‘God Is A Woman’. Continuing his amorous seance, Sunni announces the release of his next full-length project, titled Satin Psicodelic, with lead single ‘Baby I Don't Mind’. Opening with a sultry bass two-step that every so often cascades up and down the scale, the French musician sets an easy-going atmosphere to introduce his equally laidback character. In his satin croon luxuriously lathered in reverb, Sunni Colón establishes a sense of trust with his intended, letting them know that 'baby I don’t mind, / you got every right to do just what you feel'. The funk melodies are poured like honey through this lo-fi psych number making it harder than ever for us to pull our ears away from the sticky-sweet goodness that is Sunni Colón’s sound. - Hannah Thacker
